How and why I became an anthropologist and cultural historian.

The main reason for this development was that I was born into a narcissistic family. As a result, I inevitably became a selfless family member, so that at the age of 20 I developed an allergic reaction to all family members. Therefore, even before puberty, I began to deal with the pressing question of why life is sometimes unbearable.

After 40 years of intensive research, I have found my answer and have gradually freed myself from my defensive, masochistic survival recipe of my childhood. As a result, I look at culture today in my own, sober and unbiased way.

In the last 20 years, I have been able to study the research results of anthropology, ethnology, sociology and psychology through a winter break of 4 months each and thus recognize a normative field of tension that exists between these biological sciences and the cultural history of the last 5000 years. Above all, the absolutist division of man through the constitution of class culture carries such an contradictory spirit that it is factually unnatural. In my opinion, resolving this field of tension between nature and human culture and its consequences for the concrete human self-organization of today is the essential task that humans must address today in order to become fit for the future.
